Theologoumenon
   (griech. = theol. Einzelthese), mögliche Bezeichnung für eine theol. Lehre, die keinerlei verpflichtenden Charakter hat, von der kirchlichen Leitungsinstanz toleriert wird u. deren Eigentümlichkeit darin besteht, daß sie versucht, Lehrformulierungen der theol. Überlieferung interpretierend verständlich zu machen u. sie in größere Zusammenhänge zu stellen.
